At the Blueberry Farm | Berries and a Muffin Recipe

Blueberry picking was high on our list for August thanks to our berry-lovin’ little man. So we took a weekend trip to our favorite local farm and came home with eight pounds of blueberries. Graham picked an entire branch clean, eating them by the fistful. As soon as he realized he could raid our bags of berries, however, he abandoned picking for running between us, hands and cheeks full, stealing berries as he went.

We plopped a few pounds in the freezer for future smoothies and baked goods, dropped some off at the neighbors and baked up a batch of my favorite Streusel Blueberry Muffins. This recipe couldn’t be easier and the streusel topping combined with fresh blueberries is to…die..for delicious. It’s a delightful mix between a a coffee cake and muffin…perfect for pairing with a hot cup of coffee laced with cream.
