Cobbled Streets and Ice Cream | A Weekend in Quebec City
This past Christmas, we decided to do a weekend away together rather than exchange gifts. Quebec City had long been on our wish list, so we bundled Graham off Walgreens and the Post Office to apply for his passport and made plans for a May getaway. As departure rolled around and we wrestled a protesting baby in to his carseat, we began wondering about our sanity for attempting the trip with toddler…
…turns out we weren’t that crazy after all. Graham decided to learn how to walk/run while we were there, solidified his love for ice cream and shoveled poutine in his mouth by the spoonfuls. We walked to Mass in the rain, turned off our phones and managed to keep laughing through the meltdowns. It was good…so very good, and we’d do it again in a heartbeat.
